Quagga and zebra mussels are a growing problem for fresh water bodies in the US. All vessels and their trailers must display the proper mussel inspection sticker before launching in any body of water in Lake County, as required by Ordinance No. 2936. Violators are subject to a minimum fine of $1,000.
For your convenience, you can fill out the proper paper work, get your mussel inspection sticker for $10, and have your boat screened at Skylark Shores. That way, you can go ahead and use our launching ramp and docks, fish for bass, bluegill, and catfish, and relax in the sun at our resort on beautiful Clear Lake.
